TEAM is looking for someone who wants to contribute to world mission by working at TEAM’s Carol Stream, Illinois office as part of our Information Technology group. TEAM’s IT group uses their technical gifting and expertise to provide TEAM with a robust information system which enables a global ministry.

Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of TEAM’s DBA will be to design, create and support client server (Microsoft SQL Server) and flat file (Microsoft Access, etc.) database environments. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Routine operational support (such as backups, log truncation, report creation, etc.)
  • Apply appropriate patches to Microsoft SQL Server or Access database environments to ensure reliable and efficient operation
  • Maintain user accounts/access control rights for a Microsoft SQL Server or Access relational database
  • Develop and maintain database testing and verification protocols
  • Design / implement a backup and recovery scheme for a Microsoft SQL Server or Access database environment
  • Collect and translate TEAM’s requirements into business-appropriate and technologically-efficient queries
  • Collect and translate requirements into business-appropriate and technologically-efficient reports
  • Translate high-level requirements into functional requirements
  • Maintain current knowledge of best-practice database design specifications: entity relationship model, database schema, table and index creation, stored procedure creation, database security scheme, optimization of existing database environments
  • Maintain stored procedures, reports, and scripts offering both guidance and optimization for the current environment

 

Experience & Technical Skills


  • Microsoft SQL Server 2000 & 2005
  • Ability to write Complex SQL Queries & Stored Procedures
  • SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
  • Data Transformation Services (DTS)
  • Microsoft SQL Reporting Services 2005
  • Crystal Reports 9 and above
  • 4+ years working as a DBA in a Microsoft SQL environment

The 65 people who work in this office are committed to facilitating the work of TEAM’s partners and missionaries around the world. This individual will fill the position of receptionist/front desk operator as well as being part of the Stewardship Ministries Office. They should be a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ and active in fellowship with a Bible-believing church. The applicant will recognize the important role this position plays in helping TEAM to fulfill its ministry.

Responsibilities

TEAM is looking for someone who wants to contribute to world missions by working as the Church and Recruitment Services Assistant in TEAM’s Carol Stream, Illinois office. The 65 people who work in this office are committed to facilitating the work of TEAM’s partners and missionaries around the world. This individual should be a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ and active in fellowship with a Bible-believing church.

This is a full-time (40 hours /week), hourly position with retirement savings plan, excellent healthcare insurance and FSA benefits. Position begins with two weeks vacation, personal days, and 9 paid holidays.

  • Prepare expense reports and track finances for budget purposes
  • Enter and maintain accurate and current opportunity information in multiple web databases
  • Assist with planning and logistics for recruitment and church connection events
  • Maintain an inventory of displays, tablecloths, giveaways, and other resources, and assist in the design/update of these materials
  • Participate in the TEAM Carol Stream office environment in a manner that reflects TEAM’s core values: God-dependence, church focus, visionary, passionate service, life-long learners and caring community
  • Front desk coverage

Reporting Relationship

  • Director of Mobilization, also fulfilling administrative tasks in conjunction with priorities outlined by the Church Connections Facilitator and the Recruitment Coordinator
